We are all citizens of the MODEL runway. We live, work, walk, occupy, reminisce, eat, drink, dance, smell, trip, feel, and dream on the global runway.
14th Street from Fifth Avenue to Sixth Avenue was our laboratory during this workshop. MODEL intended to take pedestrians off their predictable paths and move them into a new awareness of their everyday landscape. The participant artists were encouraged to shape the unnoticed planes of 14th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, imagining the possibilities of what could be.
