This workshop was part of a summer residency at IdeasFromElse[W]here with the drawingshed in Lloyd Park, Walthamstow, East London, UK. (curated by Sally Labern, Bobby Lloyd, and Jordan McKenzie). The participants were members of the drawingshed writing group that had been together for one year.

Yesterday at the gallery saw Ed Woodham run a writing workshop that asked people to work outside of their comfort zone. It started with a writing and sharing exercise out in the park, and then a non-writing performance for each of the participants by the pond, each doing something – and for a writing workshop, not writing – that was contra to usual behaviour for them.
